How does receipt itemization work?

Just snap a photo of any receipt or select one from your gallery. Our ninja scans it using AI to identify each item, price, tax, and tip. Then you simply tap who ordered what, and everyone's share is calculated automatically - including their portion of tax and tip!
Is SplitSmart really free forever?

Yes! No transaction limits, no ads, no premium tiers. As long as I can afford to run it (surprisingly, hosting is pretty cheap if you do it right), it'll stay free.
Can I edit expenses after saving them?

Absolutely! Unlike some other apps, you can edit any expense at any time - even itemized receipts. Made a mistake? No problem. Just tap the expense and update it.
Does SplitSmart work with multiple currencies?

Yes! Perfect for international trips or if you have friends across different countries. Track expenses in any currency and see your total balances clearly.
How do I settle up with friends?

SplitSmart tracks who owes what, but doesn't process payments directly. Once you know the amounts, settle up using Venmo, PayPal, cash, or however you prefer. Then mark the expense as "settled" in the app.
